About Me
Micki is a mom, wife and career woman who has always loved to take pictures. The love for photography started way
back in the 80's when she worked as a children's photographer for a
national firm while saving money to finish her Bachelors Degree. The
company she worked for use to critique the photos every month. "I
remember at first being ranked nearly last for the quality of my photos
and I decided right then and there that I was going to work hard to get
to the top ten." And she did! Within a year, she was ranked 3rd in
the nation. Several years later, Micki dabbled into wedding
photography, macro photography and basically carried her camera
wherever she went.
Now, after recently being laid off from a corporate position, Micki has decided to get back to what she loves to do. She still loves to take pictures of kids, animals, scenery and has even recently photographed a Quinceañera. But most of her photography over the past several years have been taking photos at her son's karate dojo and tournaments. "I love to bring joy to moms and dads as they view their precious children's smiling faces in the photos that I take".
When Micki takes photos for her son's dojo, she ends up with sometimes a thousand or more images. She then posts them on her website for all of the student's friends and families to see and download. Many of these photos can be viewed in the gallery. I would love to be invited to your business to do the same for all of your families.
